JAI (pronounced Jay), a third-generation minister and worship leader, from St. Louis, Missouri who wears many hats – singer/songwriter, worship pastor, business owner, marketing/brand strategist, John Maxwell Leadership Coach and Joyce Meyer Podcast and Conference Host.

She’s been extremely blessed and is sharing her wisdom with a unique and innovative sound that fuses current urban instrumentation with lyrics that encourage, entertain, and offer inspiration to all generations.

Her love affair with music began when she began playing the keyboard at age nine in the music ministry at her father’s church, where at 18, she would accept a role as the minister of music. She was later ordained as a minister and has served 20 years in the ministry as a Youth Pastor, Retreat and Conference Facilitator, Speaker, Coach, Global Worship Pastor, and featured guest in churches across the globe.

As a recently divorced single mom, Jai enjoys discovering who she really is, spending time with her 18-year-old daughter and meeting new people and learning about their journey.  She began her professional music career in 2003 while simultaneously quenching her thirst for knowledge byh obtaining both a bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Media Communications with an emphasis in Marketing from Webster University.   All of her educational pursuits and musical experiences are currently being put to use as she became the owner of multiple entertainment and branding companies, as well as a certified Leadership Coach under the John Maxwell Team.

Since founding her entertainment companies, she has had the privilege of sharing the stage with the likes of Kirk Franklin, KiKi Sheard, Rickey Smiley, Erica Campbell, and Amber Riley, and more. She was featured in L.A. plays and was a supporting actress in the independent film, “Dreams” starring Terri J. Vaughn, Syesha Mercado (American Idol), Marvin and Vickie Winans, and Geoffrey Owens of The Cosby Show.

She also sang background vocals for Grammy Award-winning duo Mary Mary and was writer and vocalist on Stellar Award-winning Trip Lee’s Between Two Worlds album and Grammy-nominated Lecrae’s Rehab album.  Jai Entertainment LLC.  teamed with Central South Distribution/Infinity to nationally release her electrifying debut album “Culture Shock” on August 2, 2011, which peaked at #4 on the iTunes charts and garnered her, her first Gospel Music Association, Dove Award nomination for Christian Urban Album of the Year.

After being the Worship Pastor for The St. Louis Dream Center for 4 years, Jai became the Global Worship Pastor for Faith Church in St. Louis and West Palm Beach, FL. She has also served as the creative director for the creative opens for the Joyce Meyer Love Life Conferences and is now one of the Co-Hosts of Joyce Meyer’s newest Podcast, Talk It Out, and was recently featured on Joyce Meyer’s, Enjoying Everyday Life and Love Life Girls Night In Conference.
