Lenard has a unique background in both ministry, music, and the corporate sectors. No matter the task at hand, he knows that his purpose in life is to serve people.
He accepted the call at a young age and has worked in ministry for over 12 years in a number of capacities. Lenard worked in youth ministry for 10 years as a worship leader building up students, mentoring, and nurturing their gifts. He helped grow a youth ministry from 50 students to over 500 students weekly. He has served as a worship leader, music director, and on the writing team of one of the largest churches in his region. Lenard currently serves as a worship pastor in Shreveport, Louisiana.
In the corporate space, Lenard began his career in recruiting as an admission counselor at Centenary College of Louisiana where he oversaw undergraduate admission and scholarship awarding for the Northwest, Northeast, Central, and Southwest regions of Louisiana. He worked diligently building relationships and pipelines, and quickly became the top recruiter. This led to an opportunity as a strategic talent sourcer with CSRA Inc., where he worked on a team of technical recruiters fulfilling information technology roles for government agencies such as NASA, the White House, FDIC, SEC, NIH, and the Department of Defense.
Lenard earned his bachelor’s degree in Music with a concentration in Vocal Performance and Choral Conducting and completed an independent study in Management of Church Music from Centenary College of Louisiana. As owner of a music company, he writes and produces music for a number of artists in Louisiana, Texas, and Nashville, TN. He currently works as the music director and producer for 318 Co. Music artist, Kirstie Fleur. He also enjoys teaching private piano and drum lessons to students in his city. Lenard is an established singer, keyboardist, and drummer and enjoys having the opportunity to travel the country spreading the gospel through music with music artists and community groups.
The greatest joy of Lenard’s life is sharing life’s adventures with his wife, Alexis, and their son, Austin. He loves connecting with his friends and family, staying closely connected with his fraternity alumni chapter as they inspire young men and provide community service to the Shreveport/Bossier City metropolitan area.
