Calvin always had a respect and reverence for God because he grew up in church. He desired to go deeper in his walk with God and wanted to challenge his kingdom perspective to include all races and cultures. When Calvin recognized that he was called into ministry, he quickly responded to God and set out to create a different picture of ministry than what he saw growing up.

After graduating from Mississippi Valley State University, Calvin pursued full-time ministry. For more than 20 years, he has served in a variety of pastoral roles and also as a team chaplain and musician. He is fun and is the perfect amount of crazy to lead people to God in a unique way. Calvin’s dream is to affect a generation of people and help resource, develop, and shape culture so that they can be bold and effective leaders that will lead others to build God’s Kingdom. Through strength and wisdom, he influences people around him to become the best they can be in Christ.

Calvin and his beautiful wife, Lindsey, live in Houston, Texas, with their three children—Carson, Carter, and Landrie. He loves to discover new music, watch ESPN, and play NBA 2K.
