THE RELEVANT CHURCH STORY

Relevant Church began in the living room of our Founding Pastor Matt McGarity. He and his wife
Elizabeth had been serving a ministry in the area where Matt was positioned to launch and lead
contemporary services. Shortly after this, God began to burden Matt’s heart to reach the lost and felt
the call to plant a church. After sharing this with the leadership he was submitted to, the church released
him to begin what is now Relevant Church! Like most church plants, it went from his living room to a
school, where the church began to grow.
