Emily was born and raised in Loveland, CO. She grew up a pastor’s kid and began leading worship for the youth group when she was 15. She entered full-time ministry at Rez.Church in 2013. She has served in many capacities, from campus ministry to executive assistant to associate worship director. In 2023, Emily and her husband Joshua purchased a youth sports franchise called i9Sports in the Northern Colorado area. They have nearly doubled the revenue since purchasing the franchise a little over a year ago. Emily is currently a contract worship leader, serving in various congregations around the state of Colorado.

Emily met her husband Joshua at ministry school in September of 2013. They wasted little time, marrying each other the next year. They have three beautiful children, Ezra (7), Charlie (5), and Lucy (3). She loves to cook (she is famous for her butter chicken), read (fiction for fun, non-fiction for growth), and attend as many sporting events as she can with her family (Go Braves!). She has a huge heart for the local church, and she loves to empower others to walk in their calling.
