The Director of Youth will oversee our youth department, including our staff youth/next gen directors as well as providing oversight to the Dream Team serving with the youth department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical direction, guidance, and management for all staff, volunteers, and activities within their area of responsibility
- Serve as the technical lead and interview for hiring activities within their area of responsibility
- Conduct performance assessments and recommend promotion and disciplinary actions for members of their team (in coordination with the respective campus pastor)
- Champion the establishment of ongoing spiritual and professional development for the staff under their scope of responsibility
- Serve as the thought leader of the organization within their scope of responsibility, providing recommendations for policies, procedures, and innovative changes to their team’s various structures that will enhance operational effectiveness
- Enforce the policies and procedures of the organization
- Execute financial stewardship established by the senior director
- Inspect and evaluate all areas of activity to ensure proper stewardship of funds
- Manage the global youth events, including YTH Nights, YTH Conferences, and associated dream team job-specific training
FREDERICKSBURG, VIRGINIA
From the gas lanterns lining the downtown streets to the 18th-century brick facades, Fredericksburg, Virginia, exudes a quiet, calm energy. While the town has a palpable sense of history, it can be difficult to imagine that the picturesque area was once the site of the Battle of Fredericksburg, one of the largest battles of the Civil War. Fredericksburg is also known for its beautiful fall foliage that attracts visitors from all over. For fun, you can kayak the Rappahannock River, or find a great hiking trail nearby. The historic downtown area has chef-owned restaurants and lots of boutique shopping. Fredericksburg has a little of something for everyone!
